Join the Herd is an interactive installation that invites the audience to become part of a symbolic flock. Through five large-scale sheep sculptures placed on islands of artificial grass, the work proposes a playful journey in which every visitor becomes a protagonist.
The installation weaves together play, community, and participation, encouraging reflection on belonging and collectivity in an increasingly fragmented world. Physical presence is not required: through the project’s website, anyone can upload a photo with the downloadable mask and join the global herd.
With this work, Lucas Gómez explores how art can extend beyond the exhibition space, creating a shared realm between the physical and the virtual, the intimate and the collective.
