The digital sculpture Cormorant & Eagle Bowling Set (1/4) captures the essence of marine reflection along the Territory of the Coast Salish. This work symbolizes the delicate balance between the hunter and his prey, represented through a game of bowling. In this representation, the eagle, a natural predator of cormorants, embodies the hunter who, in his hunt, may or may not capture prey, reflecting the chance and uncertainty inherent in the hunt.

The set consists of 11 Cormorants, each 10 x 2.5 inches, arranged in a bowling lane-like formation, along with a 5 x 7 inch Bald Eagle head, highlighting the power and prowess of the hunter.

This work is an original, hand-painted digital sculpture, where the digital technique employed is fused with the artisanal touch of hand-painting, achieving a piece that is at once modern and deeply symbolic.
