Heart Bomb is a sculptural component from a larger piece I made during my first year of university—a gift for my brother in the form of a custom electric guitar filled with anatomical forms and imaginary organs. This particular element represents the heart: the engine, the emotion, the ticking center of the instrument.
I sculpted it to feel like a blend between biological and mechanical, and embedded a clock face at the core to reinforce the idea of rhythm, tension, and time. The piece was meant to pulse, even when still. Cables and rope-like arteries coil around it, suggesting fragility and detonation—because what is a heart if not a beautiful bomb?
