I wanted to create something that felt playful but also technically strong\u2014a character that stood out and made people smile, but also allowed me to show my understanding of anatomy, gesture, and volume.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">The idea of a muscular penguin felt absurd enough to be fun and strange enough to feel unique. I sculpted him as if he were mid-stride\u2014part superhero, part cartoon, part prehistoric creature. The body is exaggerated, confident, almost regal, while the face and flippers retain a certain bird-like innocence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Penguin Man helped me gain admission, but more importantly, it reminded me that humor and technical exploration don\u2019t need to be separate.
