This unique trophy was born out of necessity during the COVID-19 pandemic, when traditional production was interrupted and the Chilemonos Festival\u2014one of the largest Spanish-language animation festivals in the world and an official Oscar-qualifying event\u2014had to reinvent itself from the underground of our home. With our usual supplier unable to deliver, we decided to design and fabricate the awards ourselves using 3D modeling and home printing techniques.<\/span><\/p>\n The trophy takes the form of a charismatic red robot\u2014a stylized figure inspired by classic animation characters and toy aesthetics. Its head is a red cube with droopy, sleepy eyes and small rounded ears, giving it a whimsical personality. The torso features a retro-styled TV screen that displays the Chilemonos logo, emphasizing the festival\u2019s deep connection to animated media.
