The assignment was open, but I decided to work with discarded computer parts\u2014wires, plastic shells, fans, circuit boards\u2014to build an artificial insect: a hornet assembled from technological remains.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">The body came together like a puzzle, merging organic form with mechanical logic. It felt like I was giving old, useless components a new kind of life\u2014aggressive, buzzing, and beautiful in its awkwardness. Once finished, I installed the piece on the wall of my home patio, right next to a mosaic of the Tree of Life made by my mother. HORN3T is a tribute to transformation, collaboration across generations, and the creative power of using what\u2019s already been discarded.
